Car Kit Installations
Important new laws have recently come into effect, which means that from 27th February 2007, if you are caught using your mobile phone whilst driving you will have to pay a £60 fine and receive 3 penalty points on your license. Currently, if you use any phone when you are driving you will be classed as breaking the law.

The laws are now getting tougher and the penalties heavier. Receive just six penalty points in your first 2 years of driving and you can expect to lose your license.

Hands free car kits - there are two main types of fitted hand free mobile phone car kits. Below is an explanation of each type along with the different fitting options available. The information should help you decide which hands free kit will suite your needs best. If you are still unsure please feel free to fill out an enquiry form and one of our hands free kit specialists will advise you.

Bluetooth LogoBluetooth car kits – with this type of car kit the phone can be left anywhere within the vehicle. Calls are made and answered wirelessly with the phone through a button or display attached to the dashboard of your vehicle without any damage. Fitted Bluetooth car kits are becoming more and more advanced with features like caller display, phonebook synchronisation, colour screen and built-in GPS navigation found on the Parrot car kits.

Cradle mounted car kits – these are traditional car kits were the phone is securely held in a holder specifically designed for the phone, the holder will also charge the phone at the same time. To make and receive calls you simply use the phones keypad as normal but whilst in the holder.

A Car CradleCar kit accessories – car kits are available with several optional fitting accessories: they include a non-damage bracket or a leather console for an executive look – these items are used for mounting the phone holder to the dashboard. Mounting the holder directly onto the dashboard will damage the vehicle. Autolead, also known as a tele-mute lead – this item mutes the stereo and routes the call through the vehicles own speakers. The Autolead also provides improved call quality, especially when driving on motorways. Cradle hands free kits also offer an antenna to improve the reception. Bluetooth car kit installations usually do not require a non-damage bracket or antenna.

All our hands free car kit installations are carried out at your choice of location, be it at work or home and completed to the industry standard MPT 1362 by fully qualified and insured engineers. They have a minimum of 10 years experience in the auto electrical industry, which is of paramount importance bearing in mind the complex nature of the electronics and wiring that are an inherent part of today's vehicles. Every installation comes as standard with a full 12 Month Warranty. All installations are damage free, we use non-damage accessories on all installations, we never use non genuine products that may result in low quality calls or loss of signal strength. The wiring is concealed behind the dashboard to give a factory fitted professional finish. See our questions & answers section for further details.

Unlike all our competitors we don’t request the payment… not even a deposit, until after the installation is complete and is 100% to your satisfaction.
